Bio:

I have been a librarian for 14 years and have very much enjoyed this second career of mine!  I love connecting people to the information they are seeking and teaching students how to determine, find and use correct sources for their projects.

When I am not working I am traveling or visiting family and friends in Spain and So Cal.  I also have a little rescue dog Pippin - I consider myself his therapy human because all he really wants is to be with me.

Education:

  • M.L.I.S. Reference and Instruction, San Jose State University
  • B.A. Liberal Studies, California State University, Fullerton
  • A.A. Spanish Language and Culture, Saddleback College

LIBR 1A - Introduction to Library Research

Research Interests:

My research interests are related to my work and include information competency, critical thinking, free speech, and privacy.  Additionally I am interested in media bias and social justice issues that are impacting our communities in powerful ways.
